 JJD Wealth Advisory's Brand Launch

Brand Development, Digital Marketing, Website Production, and Event Production

Finance Industry

May 2020 to December 2020

My Role:  Creative Lead & Account Manager

Collaborators:  Renz Laboriante - Co-creative Lead & Multimedia Designer

Objective:  Our goal was to build a warm, trustworthy brand that made financial learning feel simple, human, and genuinely accessible for Filipinos.

“How We Built a Financial Brand Filipinos Could Believe in, Right When They Needed It Most.”

JJD Wealth Advisory was born at a time when people were losing their jobs, tightening budgets, and quietly panicking about the future. In the middle of that upheaval, our client wanted to build a brand that made financial literacy feel clear, human, and accessible.

I worked with my creative director for end-to-end brand development,  from strategy to identity to digital execution, helping shape JJD from a blank slate into a credible, approachable financial advisory service for Filipinos navigating wealth planning for the first time.

The challenge was simple but high-stakes: create a brand people could trust during a moment when trust was in short supply.

Insights & Strategy:  “Financial Wellness for Everyone”

We leaned heavily on research, both from the client’s experience and our own market analysis. Filipinos were spending more time online, especially on Facebook, and anxiety around health and money was at its peak.

Constraints we were working with:

• Pandemic restrictions meant remote work, limited materials, and slower logistics.

• The brand wanted to grow organically, no heavy ads, just strong value and communication.

• Only one month to prepare and promote her first online financial wellness event.

Key insight: What people needed wasn’t numbers. They needed reassurance, clarity, and a voice they could understand.

Audience: Working-class Filipinos looking for guidance on savings, investment, and financial security.

This shaped our narrative approach:

Big Idea: “Meaningful Wealth Advice from Registered Financial Planners.”

Core Narrative: “Financial Wellness is for Everyone.”

We positioned JJD as warm, approachable, and clear, a guide rather than a lecturer. The visual and verbal identity followed suit: modern, grounded, and emotionally reassuring.

Execution & Creative Process:  “Designing Trust From the Ground Up”

Our execution covered every layer of the brand’s foundation and digital presence.

Brand Development:

• Logo, typography, color palette

• Illustration and iconography system

• Photography direction

• Brand guidelines and marketing templates

Digital Ecosystem:

• Website design and deployment on Wix

• Organic and paid social campaigns

• Visual identity and copy strategy for all posts

• Brand voice: warm, practical, and empowering

Event Production:

To launch the brand, we produced the online event

“Financial Prepping: Flatten the Pandemic’s Effects on Your Finances” (Sept 2020)

This included all creative assets, presentations, and full livestream execution.

Everything worked together to build consistency: clear visuals, clear voice, clear promise.

Results:  “When Clarity Turns Into Connection”

The launch event exceeded expectations, establishing trust and recognition early in the brand’s life. Audiences responded with strong organic engagement and heartfelt testimonials, signs that the brand message resonated deeply.

For the client, it meant stepping confidently into her role as an educator.

For me, it was a creative milestone: shaping a brand that helped people feel less alone during an uncertain time.

The work later opened doors for continued collaboration and helped refine my approach to purpose-driven branding, the kind that doesn’t just look good, but genuinely helps.
